Service provided by Velocity Express . Sorting of materials will take place daily at Velocity's distribution center in Colonie. Each item sent through the delivery is sorted by its 3 or 4 letter code. Without the proper code, the item will not be delivered in a timely fashion.

For materials going to SALS, MVLS, and Academic Libraries: Label materials with the 3 or 4 letter code of the destination library.

For materials going to UHLS libraries: Put the code CDLC on all materials going to UHLS libraries. Then add the code of the destination library below CDLC, in smaller letters.

For materials going to School Libraries: Put the School Library System (SLS) code on materials going to school libraries, followed by their school name. Alphabetical list of School Libraries followed by their SLS code
